“Where there is love there is life.”
Mahatma Gandhi
Ceremony and ritual has been with us for millennia, connecting people in community and promise. In the 21st century we now have the freedom to create our own rituals and ceremony at significant life events.
It would be such a pleasure to officiate at your ceremony. Indoors, outdoors, dawn on top of a mountain (if you can drag me up that high!), dusk in a bluebell wood, rolling in a train carriage, soaring in a hot air balloon, anywhere in Ireland: where, when and how you want to make your ceremony is up to you.

“Life is short, Break the Rules.
Forgive quickly, Kiss SLOWLY.
Love truly. Laugh uncontrollably
And never regret ANYTHING
That makes you smile.”
Mark Twain
A personal wedding ceremony is a celebration of your love and together we will compose the perfect ceremony for you, whether this is an intimate affair, casual, or lavish black tie with a cast of hundreds.
Whether you want an informal or formal event, there are poetry, readings and music you may want to incorporate into your day. Traditionalists may want to include the rose or unity candle ceremonies, planting a tree, or you may prefer one of the more traditional pagan ceremonies like handfasting and jumping the broom. We will create your own unique ceremony reflecting your shared interests.
The ceremony includes home visit if feasible, telephone/email contact and Skype calls plus helpful support from me as your celebrant; draft ceremony for checking, order of ceremony agreed, liaison with your venue, walk through prior to ceremony, professional delivery of service and your own written copy of service.
THIS IS NOT A LEGAL CEREMONY. The Legal Part is Separate* and takes about 10-20 minutes in your local registry office with two witnesses, a day or so before the wedding.
*You will need to visit your local HSE Civil Registration Office where your documents and dates will be verified. Once all documentation is in order, then a date will be arranged for registering your marriage. There is a minimum time of 3 months between your HSE appointment and the date of your marriage registration (either before or after your ceremony).
You can book your appointments online. Click here for more information from the HSE.
